PROGRAM ANALYST (SAMD-18-0150-F)
Bowhead is looking for a Program Analyst for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases involving one or more countries in support of the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD). The Contractor shall provide a variety of financial, administrative and records
management functions within program management in support of the Aviation Team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Verify accuracy of reporting information and work to determine what data is missing or inaccurate.
Initiate and resolve reporting discrepancies.
Ensure that FMS cases are closed out in a timely manner, by working with various internal and external customers to reconcile case lines that are not financially complete.
Track changes to FMS cases, summarizing significant activities for management reports.
Compile source documents to support visibility and tracking of FMS case execution
Using Financial databases, reconcile receiving reports, confirming financial payments and determining accounts payable.
Use receiving reports to update internal databases for tracking of the type, quantity, and serial numbers of equipment that has been shipped to foreign countries.
Track deliverables and financial data
Updating, maintaining, and creating spreadsheets
This position is located on Aberdeen Proving Grounds
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications
Experience working in different types of database systems
Commitment to quality customer service and customer’s needs with a dedicated attitude that ensures mission success.
Quick learner, creative, resourceful, and able to work independently
Experience resolving highly sensitive and complex problems
Highly organized with the ability to see both the details and the big picture.
Excellent communication skills, team player
Effective communication with a wide range of groups including internal and external customers and high ranking government officials
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
