CACI International Cyber Security Engineer in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland supporting the Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD), Cyber Security and Information Assurance Division (CSIA), Information Security Branch.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Ability to apply analytical and planning methods to define/document/justify/execute short- to long-range strategic plans for a comprehensive Information System enterprise/tactical architectures. Included are statistical analysis, business process analysis, and process improvement and change management.

  • Knowledge and skill in applying information assurance concepts and facilitating technologies and tools as part of a secure IT infrastructure.

  • Keep up-to-date on technological developments and makes effective use of technology to achieve results.

  • Communicating effectively both orally and in writing to prepare and present information in a clear and convincing manner including clarifying and interpreting guidelines, negotiating agreements, justifying recommendations, and providing expert advice and guidance.

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Directing, motivating, coordinating, and integrating the work of others; to keep initiatives focused and to assess the effectiveness of efforts and programs.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • Experience in MySQL (novice), C# (novice), Java (intermediate), Python (intermediate) Snort, ArcSight, Wireshark, Retina, nmap, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Metasploit.

  • Experience in McAfee Anti-Virus/IDS/IPS/loss prevention suite - DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS), Cobalt Strike, Armitage, Mimikatz, John the ripper, fierce.

  • Experience in Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 & 2008/2012 r2, Cisco IOS, Redhat Enterprise Linux 5/6, Debian, Backtrack 5r2/3, Kali Linux.

  • Thorough working knowledge of Department of Defense and Army Information Assurance (IA) policies and procedures as they relate to web, System Administration, Network and Database areas.

  • Certifications required in Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification (DIACAP), NSA/CSS Information Systems Certification (NISCAP), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD 503), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the documents, messages and instructions that govern them.
