This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Transfers materials to from the production lines as needed. Loads and logs materials on outbound trailers. Unloads and verifies inbound deliveries of materials. Cleans and organizes dock and packaging room on a daily basis. Disposes of all discarded packaging and damaged items,return items not needed for current production to the dry trailer for return to the dry warehouse. Unloads dry trailer when it returns from dry warehouse. Maintains proper segregation of allergen items as required by Q C. Assists in physical inventory counts and verifications as needed. Assists production with the identification and allocation of materials. Notifies production and logistics managers of any material shortages or substitutions. Sweeps and cleans empty trailers. Organizes pallets, buckets, and cardboard stored outside. Loads cardboard and buckets on recycling trailer as needed. Fixes damaged pallets as needed. Sweeps and cleans outside dock areas. Returns unused items to freezer cooler at the end of shift. Connects forklifts to charger at the end of shift or as necessary during the day. Maintains fluid levels in forklift batteries.


1-year experience in manufacturing environment or shipping receiving environment. At least 6 months forklift experience.
